    Tambo Del Inka

Tambo Del Inka was in short, the best, nicest, and most amazing hotel we have ever stayed at. Let us show you around and tell you why you should use your SPG/Marriott points to stay here. Tambo Del Inka is in The Sacred Valley of Peru (Urubamba) which is about an hour car drive from Cusco. It is settled in between two mountains with a river running behind the hotel. You are welcomed in with a traditional Inkan drink of Cocoa Tea. It feels like a grand mountainous hotel with a huge lobby and beautiful views of the mountains and the river.   The rooms are large, open floor plans…

    Intercontinental Bali

The Intercontinental Bali is located 10 miles away from the Ngurah Rai International Airport and sits on the shores of Jimbaran Beach. This is one of Intercontinental’s nicest resorts. It is one of the oldest properties in Jimbaran, sharing its views with the Four Seasons and Le Meridien. Once you enter into their gates, you are stepping into luxury. You are greeted by the ringing of a gong, a welcome drink, a lay, and very friendly check-in hosts. The lobby is open air and has a huge vaulted ceiling with a beautiful art centerpiece. There is also artwork and statues scattered throughout the hallways and the hotel. It felt very…

    Sheraton Time Square

It was our first time in New York City and it was Christmas time! So to be central to all of the Christmas activities, we decided to stay at the Sheraton Times Square. With our SPG points and status, we got to stay here for 24,000 points for 2 nights. This Hotel was SO beautiful at Christmas time!                This hotel is on the corner of 7th and 53rd and right next to a subway station, which came in handy! This station gets you (almost) to and from LaGuardia Airport. With one transfer, it is about an hour and $4 dollars each way. We stayed on the 23rd floor with…

    JW Marriott Singapore Southbeach

One year ago The Singapore Southbeach Hotel was bought by the Marriott company. They gave it a face lift and branded it as a JW Marriott. The twin towers are unmistakable and stand out even in the super modern city of Singapore. The main entrance has a long black carpet leading to the main doors. There is a 15 foot digital mural as the focal point and following that is a long narrow lobby with extremely tall ceilings. We were located in the 2nd building, which was a little hard to find at first. Our check in host ended up walking us to our room because we had to take a…
